Online Registration Instructions

1)         From the KSCA homepage, go to Schedule.

(Note:  Red arrows will highlight each of the following steps)

Click on “Register” for the desired tournament.

2)         You will see the following screen.

Registration for a tournament is simple if your student is already in the database.

3a)       Click on “No” (since player is not a new player.)

You will see the following screen

This next part is very important.

Type your player’s name exactly as it appears in the database .

(If you need to check the database, see the directions at the end.)

Then type in the section you wish your player entered.

Click on Register

If the name you entered is in the database, you will see that your player’s name is among those registered. All of the current information from the database will be displayed as above.  Note that any New players will only show the section entered.

If the name you entered is not in the database you will see the error screen that is on the next page of these instructions.

Example:  If the name in the data base is Gill, Richard T and you enter Rich Gill, the data base engine will not find a match and will reply that the name is not in the data base.

Before attempting to reenter the name, check to make sure how the name is entered in the database (See step 4 below)

Click Back so that you may reenter the name.

3b)       If you click yes (for a new player)

            you will see this screen

Please type in all information (USCF ID is the only field not required).  Type “none” if no middle initial.

Click “Submit”

KSCA School Codes”.

Team codes can also be searched with partial school names.

Here is the screen you will see after clicking on “Search by Player”

I encourage you to try the different ways to work with the search engine.  The most efficient way for coaches to see all of the players entered in the data base (and to discover which of your players have the wrong school code) is to use the Search by Team.
