Where: Wakarusa Valley Elementary southwest of Lawrence, Kansas (see directions below), 1104 E. 1000 Rd., Lawrence, KS 66047
Registration: 8:15‑9:00 am, Sat. November 14. First round begins at 9:15.
Rounds: 6 Round Swiss tournament (Game 30); 3 Sections: K‑9; K‑6; & K‑3
Entry Fee: $7 pre‑registered (by Thursday night, payment made at tournament)
$10 on‑site registration

Prizes: Trophies for top 3 teams and medals for top 20 individuals in each section

Equipment: Bring boards, sets and clocks.
Late entries (after 9 am) will not be paired in the first round.
Directions: from Kansas City: take K‑10 east to Lawrence, which becomes 23rd Street. Continue west on 23rd St. This eventually becomes Clinton Parkway and will take you west of town until you reach a T-Junction by Clinton Lake Dam. Turn left at T‑Junction and cross Clinton Lake Dam. Turn right onto Co. Rd. 458 (E 1000 Rd.) and proceed approx. 1/2 mile to Wakarusa Valley School, on left (east) side of road.
from Topeka: take I‑70 to Lecompton exit. Head south on South Lawrence Trafficway (K‑10) to Clinton Dam/Clinton Parkway exit. Turn right onto Clinton Parkway, then left at T‑Junction and cross Clinton Lake Dam. Turn right onto Co. Rd. 458 (E 1000 Rd.) and proceed approx. 1/2 mile to Wakarusa Valley School, on left (east) side of road.
from south of Lawrence: take US 59 north to 1st stoplight just south of Lawrence city limits. After proceeding underneath the bridge at this intersection, turn left onto South Lawrence Trafficway (K-10). Head west on South Lawrence Trafficway to Clinton Dam/Clinton Parkway exit. Turn left onto Clinton Parkway, then left at T‑Junction and cross Clinton Lake Dam. Turn right onto Co. Rd. 458 (E 1000 Rd.) and proceed approx. 1/2 mile to Wakarusa Valley School, on left (east) side of road.
